What is Love?
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." - 1 Cor. 13:4-8
I have been married for 10 years and am so thankful for this kind of love from my beautiful bride. Outside of the grace of God, she is God's greatest gift to me.
This is a wonderful song about love and the security of God's love in Christ:

Great post.
I was thinking about writing a pamphlet about, "What is love?" because the Bible says, "God is love" but we all have our own definition of what love is...so, in turn, this makes God to be different for all people and God's own character is "just our interpretation." So, I kinda wanted to hit on what the Bible says about love, and in turn, it helps us define who God is.
Thank you very much for this!
