The problem with holding up the party platforms is that so frequently the candidates often only pay lip-service to them. Also, let's not forget there are other political parties in this country that are just as worthy of consideration as the Democrats and Republicans. Ultimately though we must compare the parties and their politicians against God's Word and the Constitution. I think if you do that you'll find most of our "leaders" lacking.
I was all for Obama but now the more I study the less I like him. Same with McCain. Each of them has good things that I like about them but I'm finding it hard to come down firmly on one side.
But I do however, think that Palin is a joke. She has conservative support because she hates abortion, likes guns and touts a just war theology. But I just don't understand why conservatives are so willing to throw in behind her.
Any ideas?
